![]() ![]() Open one arm at a time on each side & then pull the pieces apart in the middle to free the pom pom. Using about a 6 inch piece of embroidery floss around the center, tie it tightly and make a knot or two (this is what will keep all the yarn together and complete the pom pom). Cut the yarn open down the arms on each side, hold the maker securely so it doesn’t come apart during this. Once that’s done, cut the ends, close those arms and do the same on the other side.Ģ. To make a nice full fluffy pom pom, it’s best to wrap the yarn until it’s almost flush with the bottom of the arms. Line the strands up and start wrapping them evenly around the arms of the pom pom maker.
